Tallulah was quiet, which was rare. Normally when she stopped making noise and bugging the people around her that means she got into something. At that moment she was sitting at the edge of a pier. Her shoes were brown strappy sandals, they grazed and ripped the water, flicking droplets on her feet. Spring felt nice with it's warm winds and bright skies.
She sat there with a fishing pole between her legs, trying to find some pokemon. It wasn't going so well. The old sack of dust next to her had reeled in two. She imagined he was fishing for food because he never put them away into a pokeball. She wondered if he had some kind of bait the fish found extra good.
Saint Rain, her marshtomp, sat in her lap, looking like an oversized toddler, holding properly onto the pole. There wasn't much to do while fishing besides wait. She was on solid ground and didn't have to worry about watching the ship or being flung overboard.
She tried talking to Mr. Dust. But he just grumbled about how nice the silence of fishing was. So, she stopped that conversation quickly and let him have peace.
