Echo is a good girl going down a bad path. She believes, possibly to the point of delusion, that nobody likes her and everybody is out to get her. The exception to this is Team Galactic, to which she feels a real sense of belonging. She's convinced that their goals are truly noble, even if it doesn't seem that way. They're just misunderstood because they're ahead of their time, or so she tells herself. It doesn't help that Echo is so lonely she's desperate for some kind of group identity, especially if said group frames itself as the outcasts of society. Perfect for a (self-proclaimed) outcast like herself.
